"Encouragement to Animal Crackers."

We really need to do better with our postings. If we are serious about writing and if we are serious about this great group of talent, then we must try to make a better effort here. I know we all have busy schedules and I am one with a tremendous toil myself, but this group is bigger than our schedules.

It is so easy to become a lazy writer, and I was one for years, but I woke up and realized that no talent should be wasted, and if there is anyone who is falling to the destruction of laziness than I want to hold you accountable by saying; no more, forget those old habits, it is time for you to push yourself to another level of commitment!

Let us be diligent writers that never stop moving; let us be sound writers that will reach the highest achievements of success; even if we are sucked into outer-space or compressed 10,000 feet in the ocean, let us not stop moving; my dream is to see all of us with books on those Barnes & Nobles shelves.

These are the suggestions:

If someone post a new section; we should be able to give feed back within five days of that posting, also everyone should post something at least twice a month with no exceptions.

Amen, Brother Moses!  Testify!

I've been struggling with guilt about all the work that's piling up.  In fact, last Sunday I rebelled and refused to do any school work, thinking it was unfair that every single day of every week I sit down and grade papers and work on lesson plans, all the while other people in the world get to have 9 to 5 jobs and get paid more for doing it.

Now, you know what that meant -- I'm now further buried than I was before -- but the important thing is that I'm starting to throw off the shackles.

Wednesday night, as I drove home, I said to myself, "I'm not doing a thing until I work on my stuff.  Tomorrow I'm going to read and critique Moses' work, and then Jen's, and then post something."  I sat down at the computer, just to see if any students had sent me emails (of course, they did).  I didn't answer them, but something made me look at Animal Crackers.  I had to smile when I read this post.

Back on the horse, then, D'Elia. Ok. So, I know it's not Monday, but it is an office hour, time well spent on Hannah if nothing else.
Besides, I had an idea this morning for a new story, and I'll never get to tell it if I don't get Hannah on her way. Posting to follow!
