Technical Stuff: Membership Information

As you can see, the site is divided into two areas--a public discussion space and a private manuscript workshop area.  New members are encouraged to read over the Welcome post which discusses some general ground rules, and the Introductions thread to meet some of the folks who "work/contribute/engage" here.

New members are also encouraged to check out our social networking site on Sunoasis, a great writer's networking site created by David Eide.

To use the workshop portion of this site, simply register as a member--the registration is free.  Jen and I will receive an email that says you are onboard, and one of us will go into the Admin section and clear you for the workshop.  How easy is that?

If you have questions of a technical nature, such as "What does this button do?", let me know.  Simply click on my name in the posting headers to go to my profile and send me a private message.  I have access to Activeboard's support desk and can find the answers for you.

Lastly, and I say this with some trepidation because we are an enthusiastically friendly group of folks and are in no way exclusive, if you are not interested in reading manuscripts and offering feedback (notice that I didn't say post manuscripts--that's always a plus but not necessary), please consider just remaining a guest and by all means joining us on the Sunoasis site to chat and generally network.  The Activeboard site is not free, and if we have too many page impressions, we'll go bankrupt!

Thanks, and welcome to the Workshop!

Thanks for the info!

I will be more than happy to participate in Critiques...is there a number of words necessary?
